MAYFIELD — Shirley Jean Cope, 76, of Mayfield died at 1:52 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at her home.

She was a member of Unity Baptist Church and retired from Merit Clothing Co.

Mrs. Cope is survived by one son, Jackie Cope of Mayfield, and one daughter. Shelia Stone of South Fulton, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Cope; one brother; and one sister. Her parents were Plummer T. and Mitchie Riley Moss.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Revs. Ronnie Stinson and Kenneth Newsome officiating.

Burial will be in New Home Baptist Church Cemetery.
