Thelma Oneida Johnson, 94, of Maryville, Tenn., formerly of Paducah, Ky., passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care in Maryville.
Oneida was born June 10, 1918, in Graves County, Ky., to the late Florien Earl Foth and Nannie Mae Davis Foth.
She was a present member of Siever Heights Baptist Church in Knoxville and a former member of Oaklawn Baptist Church in Paducah.
Surviving are her two daughters, Joyce Carol Duncan and husband Doyle and Janice Brady and husband Ron Sr., all of Maryville; two grandchildren, Lori Ann Thurston-Johnson and husband Rick of Spring Hill, Tenn., and Greg Duncan of Maryville, Tenn., and two great-grandchildren, Conner Thurston and Sydney Thurston, both of Spring Hill, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Learmon “Pete” Johnson; a brother, Earl Davis Foth, and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Hardmoney Cemetery in Boaz, Ky.
Visitation will begin at noon Sunday, January 6, 2013, at the funeral home.
