CORYDON, Ind. — Viola “Bernice” Groves Klemenz, 85, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012.

Born and raised in Lyon County, Kentucky, Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Eric Groves and Viola Parent Groves; a daughter, Cynthia Jane, and a son, Gary Keith.

Bernice leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 67 years, Joseph Klemenz; her children, Larry Klemenz (Gail), Anita Rouark (Dale), Melody Aschbacher (David) and Heather Harter (Brian); her grandchildren, Tiffany Thieneman (Nic), Brandon Klemenz and April Harter; and three beautiful great-grandchildren, Megan, Ethan and Loran Thieneman.

A service honoring the life of Bernice will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at 12 noon at Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville, Ky.

Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
