MURRAY — Harold Palmer, 85, of Murray died Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Palmer of Kirksey; one son, Scott Harold Palmer of Libertyville, Ill.; two daughters, Cheryl Mayo of Kirksey and Kelley Fischer of Mesa, Ariz.; one brother, Chuck Palmer; five grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.

His parents were Harold and Charlotte DeYoung Palmer.

Private services are planned. Heritage Family Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
