ROSICLARE, Ill. — Robert J. Newford, 92, of Rosiclare died at 6:50 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2012, at Rosiclare Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

He was a retired security guard and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Sine of Elizabethtown and Judy Woodbury of Des Plains; two sons, Robert Newford of Elizabethtown and David Newford of Des Plains; one grandchild; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Hook Newford, and his second wife, Jean Newford. His parents were Fred and Florence Newford. 

A memorial service will be announced later.

Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.
