EDDYVILLE — Muriel Olive Overton, 89, of Eddyville died Monday, December 24, 2012, at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton.
She was a homemaker, a former secretary for Allied Equipment Company in Memphis, Tenn., and a former parts clerk for Allis Chambers Tractor Supply Company in Memphis. She was a member of Saratoga United Methodist Church in Lyon County.
She is survived by one sister, Norma McNabney of Eddyville; and one niece, Norma Ann Crider of Crestwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Lee Overton; and one brother. Her parents were William Duke Glass and Agnes Geneva Holland Glass.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville with Rev. Steve McVay officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Eddyville.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the funeral home.
