HICKMAN — Billie Taylor, 85, of Wilson, N.C., formerly of Hickman, died Monday, December 24, 2012, at Parkwood Village in Wilson, N.C.

She had been a beautician and a member of West Hickman Baptist Church before moving to Wilson.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Kerby of Wilson, and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Taylor; a brother, and a sister. He parents were Henry and Rose Lee Downing.

Services will be at Strong Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012, with the Rev. Henry Callison officiating.

Burial will be in Hickman City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until service time Friday.
