PRINCETON — Royce Mimms, 41, of Princeton died Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Jewish Hospital Medical Center in Louisville.
He was a factory worker at Hydrogear and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Arcie Bell Maxie Mimms of Princeton; one son, De’Vante Mimms of Jacksonville, N.C.; two daughters, Amaryia Bass of Crofton and Tiearis Autry of Paducah; four brothers, Ronald Thornton of Owensboro, Phillip White of Princeton, Michael Miles of Hopkinsville, and Bruce Jackson of Atlanta; 15 sisters, Mary Mimms Gilkey, Doshea Glover, Carolyn Dixon, Gloria Kimbrough, Norma Elmore, Penny Jackson, Fredia Jackson, Greta Gray, Tracy Jackson, Melissa Jackson, Brittany Bumphus, all of Princeton, Bonnie Mimms and Betty Sue Murray, both of Hopkinsville, Twanda Maxwell of Paducah, and Anita Baker of Cerulean; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Lee Mimms.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012, at Southside Baptist Church with the Revs. Gerald Cannon and James Brasher officiating with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
