MURRAY — Thomas Dale Smotherman, 27, of Murray died Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at his home.

He was an employee of Murray State University and was a member of New Concord Church of Christ.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Smotherman; his father, Terry Smotherman; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Donna Henry; and his paternal grandparents, Bill and Mary Smotherman, all of Murray.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012, at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home. Bob Haley and Mickey Garrison will officiate with burial in Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be 4–8 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012, at the funeral home.
