ROSICLARE, Ill. — Jack Lee Quertermous, 77, died at 4:40 p.m. Monday at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale.

He ran a sawmill for many years. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Gertrud Ledbetter Quertermous; four brothers, Dale Quertermous of Tennessee, and Gary, Mike, and Steve Quertermous of Harrisburg, Ill.; and two sisters, Helen Owen and Louise Quertermous of Harrisburg, Ill.

He was preceded in death by one sister.  His parents were Calvin and Sylvia Robinson Quertermous.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Cox Funeral Home with the Revs. Stan Pennell and Peggy Winters officiating. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
