Martha “Jane” Walden, 89 of Paducah, died Sunday, December 16, 2012, at 12:40 p.m. at McCracken County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Jane was a native of Ft. Washington, Pa., and member of Arcadia United Methodist Church. She retired from K-Mart and spent 20 years at Merle Norman Cosmetics at Southside Mall.

Survivors include one daughter, Marsha Faye Cothron of Wolfe City, Texas; one son, Larry William (Betty) Conkwright of Paducah, three stepdaughters, Shirley (Richard) Winstead of Paducah, Wanda “Bennie” (Larry) Denton and Byrldean Weil Chapman, both of Evansville, Ind.; one sister, Marilyn (Bob) Culmer of Dallas, Texas, one brother, Jack King of Pottsboro, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Ann King, Dallas, Rue King of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Brad Allen Conkwright of Louisville and Derek Edward (Nicole) Cothron of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death were her parents, Frank Fowler King and Ann L. Davies King; two brothers, Wayne King and Bedford King; and two stepsons, Jessie Conkwright and Bobby Conkwright.

Services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. David Garrett officiating. Entombment will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday until service time at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
