William W. Jones, 79, of Paducah died at 6:05 a.m. Saturday at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Mr. Jones was a retired heavy equipment mechanic with operating Engineers Local 181. He was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Jones; one son, Paul William Jones of Paducah; and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lorilee Jones Roberts; one brother; and one sister. His parents were William L. Jones and Mary Mildred Satterfield Jones.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hughes Funeral Home with the Revs. Tommy Williams and Royce Dukes officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
