Mr. and Mrs. Bob J. Shelby of Paducah will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. The couple plan a trip to Florida at a later date.

Mr. Shelby and the former Linda Joy Pace were married Dec. 22, 1962, in Metropolis, Ill.

Mrs. Shelby is retired from C-Plant Federal Credit Union. She is the daughter of the late J.S. and Delores Pace.

Mr. Shelby is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He is the son of the late Clifford E. Shelby and the late Barbara Waldrop Nelson.

They are the parents of Chad E. Shelby of Owensboro and Susan Shelby-Myers of Lexington. They have one grandson.
