WINGO — Mrs. Marceline Hicks, 87, a resident of Wingo, passed away at 8:52 a.m. Thursday at her residence.

She attended Pryorsburg Community Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace R. Hicks; two daughters, Rita Chappell of Madisonville and Gina McCord, Wingo; one son, Johnny Hicks of Wingo; five grandchildren, Brett Chappell of Dawson Springs, Shane Chappell of Providence, Angela Hicks DePatto of Lancaster, Steven Hicks of Mayfield, and DeWayne McCord of Wingo; seven great-grandchildren, Brandon Chappell, Brittney Chappell, Cash Chappell, Brooke DePatto, Camron Depatto, Reed McCord, and Reese McCord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Iva Oliver Garrett, and one sister, Geraldine Garrett Adams.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Wingo with the Revs. Mike Miller and James Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Wingo Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home in Wingo.
