CADIZ — Services for Kim Shafer, 18, of Cadiz will be noon Wednesday at King’s Funeral Home in Cadiz with Carl Heckmann and Chris McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.

Miss Shafer died Saturday from injuries sustained in an automobile wreck.

She was a 2012 graduate of Trigg County High School, a hostess at Cracker Barrel and a student at Hopkinsville Community College.

She is survived by her father, Charles Shafer of Smithsburg, Md.; her mother, Payom Shafer of Cadiz; three sisters, Brittany Shafer, Tiffany Shafer and Isabelle Shafer, all of Cadiz; and her grandparents, Vicki Jackson of Salem, Va., and David Nookai Crawford of Hopkinsville.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, David Franzina.
