BENTON — Edna Earl Riedling, 87 of Morgantown, W.Va., formerly of Benton, passed away at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Benton.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carla L. Riedling and husband Clifford M. Anglim of Morgantown, W.Va., and Janet Sue Riedling Poe and husband James C. Poe of Highpoint, N.C.; two nephews, Neal McWaters of Benton and Sammy McWaters of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Michelle Riedling of Searcy, Ark., Michael Eric Riedling and wife Amylyn of Tacoma. Wash., and Megan Riedling of Tacoma, Wash.; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Riedling; her son, James Michael Riedling; her brother, James G. McWaters, Jr.; and her parents, James Garnett McWaters, Sr. and Susie (Duncan) McWaters.

Private committal services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory. Bro. Steve Smith will officiate and burial will follow in Benton Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
