MURRAY — James Windsor, 85, of Murray died Tuesday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
He was a member of Salem Baptist Church, retired from Auto Specialist, and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Sheila Vienup of Chicago and Pat West of Hazel; three sons, Jimmy Windsor of Sodus, Mich., Billy Windsor of Murray and Jerry Kirby of Hartford, Mich.; two sisters, Claudean Epps of Puryear, Tenn., and Linda Jones of Murray; four brothers, Charles Windsor, Glen Windsor, Keith Manning, all of Lynn Grove, and Buddy Manning of Murray; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Reba Windsor; his second wife, Irene Jackson Windsor; one daughter, Carol Cannady; one son, Ronnie Kirby; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren. His parents were Tilman Windsor and Opal Manning.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with John Sheppard officiating. Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
