CALVERT CITY — Larry R. Lampley, 72, of Calvert City passed away at 11 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Lampley was a retired chemical operator for B.F. Goodrich and Westlake Monomers of Calvert City. He was a member of Woodlawn Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Paducah, where he served as church elder, and was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 737 of Sharpe. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was a good man.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dorsie Belt Lampley; one son, Darin R. Lampley and wife Joy of Paducah; one daughter, Lori Lampley Martin and husband Michael of Benton; one brother, Phil Lampley and wife Barbara of Nashville, Tenn.; one sister, Sherry Jackson and husband Dathel of Benton; five grandchildren, Sarah Lampley, Jonah Lampley, Hannah Lampley, Lauren Martin and Aaron Martin; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny L. Lampley and Rena King Lampley.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012, at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. David Fackler officiating.

Burial will follow at Fooks Cemetery in Marshall County.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Hughes Funeral Home.
