DACULA, Ga. — Reike Lewis Coppins, 61, Dacula, Ga., passed away at 7:15 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2012, at Western Baptist Hospital.
Reike was of the Baptist faith and a veteran Captain of the U.S. Air Force. He was a graduate of Tennessee State University where he was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.
He was a recruiter for Westwood College of Atlanta, Ga., and was Vice-President and a Mortgage Broker of Chase Mortgage Lenders.
Reike is survived by his mother, Ida Mae Brown Coppins of Paducah; three daughters, Reikelle Coppins of Tyrone, Ga., Carmelita Coppins of LaQuinta, Calif., and Laci Coppins of Milwaukee, Wis.; two uncles, Jesse (Shirley) Mason of Paducah and Willie E. Mason of Austin, Texas; one aunt, Johnnie Perkins of Florence, Ala.; several nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson N. Coppins.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
