GOLCONDA, Ill. — Lester E. Pelcha, 91, of Golconda died Thursday at VA Community Living Center in Marion.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elizabethtown and VFW Post 9227.

Survivors include four children, Michael Pelcha, Patricia Garrison, Steven Pelcha, and Stanley Pelcha, all of Golconda; three grandsons, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Pelcha; four brothers; and two sisters. His parents were James and Ollie Pelcha.

A funeral Mass will be at noon Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elizabethtown, with Abraham Adejoh officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Friday at Aly Funeral Home in Golconda.
