UNION CITY, Tenn. — Gary Cleveland Booker, 64, of Hornbeak died Thursday in Hornbeak.

He retired from Kohler in Union City.

He served as a communications specialist at Fort Benning, Fort Campbell and Fort Dix and in Vietnam and Germany.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Booker; two daughters, Amy Magee of Boaz, Ky., and Kristy Gray Webb of Union City; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Tony Booker and Mike Tankersley, both of Cunningham, Ky., and Bill Booker of Water Valley, Ky.; and three sisters, Dorothy Leyhue of Greenfield, Patty Thomas of Mayfield, Ky., and Florine McPherson of Paducah.

He was preceded in death by three brothers. His parents were James and Euna Booker.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at White-Ranson Funeral Home in Union City.

Burial will be in Stanley’s Cemetery.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
