BENTON — Joseph Houston Jones, 77, of Benton died Wednesday at Lakeway Nursing & Rehabilitation.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Mason.

He is survived by five daughters, Cynthia Doran of Akron, Ohio, Tina Price of Clinton, Tenn., Mary Robertson of Knoxville, Tenn., Jackie Gallaher of Oliver Springs, Tenn., and Brenda Metcalf of Powell, Tenn.; one son, Joseph Michael Jones of Ocoee, Fla.; one brother, William L. Jones of Benton; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister. His parents were Lester Jones and Bertie Fike Jones.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Collier Funeral Home with the Revs. Ray Lewis and Jon Bedwell officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.
