HERNDON — Services for Winnie Brandon, 92, of Herndon will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Roaring Spring Christian Church with the Revs. Billy Joe Nichols and Eric Harris officiating. Burial will be in Powell Cemetery in Lafayette.

Mrs. Brandon died Monday at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz.

Mrs. Brandon was a member of Roaring Spring Christian Church, where she was a former Sunday School teacher, served in Communion preparation and as a church custodian. She was a member of the Trigg County Homemakers and Christian Women’s Fellowship.

She is survived by a son, John W. Brandon Jr. of Herndon; two daughters, Betty Cook of Princeton and Becky Oliver of Cadiz; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Brandon Sr., and three sisters.

Her parents were Dr. John Leroy and Winnie Roberts Boatwright.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz.
