MOUNDS, Ill. — Graveside services for Myrell L. Stoner, 88, of Mounds will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge with military rites conducted.

Mr. Stoner, an Army veteran of World War II, died at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday at Anna Rehab and Nursing Center in Anna.

Mr. Stoner attended First Baptist Church in Mounds and was a retired GMO Motors employee.

There are no immediate survivors.

His parents were Leslie David Stoner and Bertha Pearl Sheffer Stone.

Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call at the cemetery at the time of the service.
