BENTON — Donald Ray Swinny, 61, of Benton died Thursday at Marshall County Hospital.

He was a member of Briensburg Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Culp Swinny; his mother, Margie Flowers Swinny of Reidland; one daughter, Jeannie Hill of Dunn, N.C.; three sons, Bobbie Crabtree of Dunn, N.C., and Kevin Tyree and Chris Tyree, both of Paducah; one brother, David Swinny of Eddyville; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Swinny. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home with the Rev. Brad Walker officiating.
