PRINCETON — James W. Lisanby, 84, of Princeton died Wednesday at his home.

He was a chief engineer for 37 years in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys Kemp Lisanby; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Lisanby of Huntsville, Ala., and Sarah Hollingsworth Lisanby of Durham, N.C.; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Charles Alvin Lisanby of Hollywood Hills, Calif.

His parents were Alvin and Rebecca Hollingsworth Lisanby.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ogden Memorial United Methodist in Princeton with the Rev. Gary Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
