BENTON — Tamara “Tammy” Walker, 51, of Benton died Sunday at her home. She was a homemaker and a former secretary.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin Walker; one daughter, Jordan Carey of Lexington; one stepdaughter, Amy Walker of Columbia, Mo.; her mother, Sandra Whitt Beck of Lexington; and two sisters, Cindy Moore and Kelly McDowell, both of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Joe McDowell.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville, with Mark Whitt officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery in Lyon County. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
