KEVIL — Eppie Lee Murray, 96, of Kevil, died Monday morning November 12, 2012 at 7:25 a.m. at Parkview Nursing Home in Paducah.

Eppie is survived by two daughters, Becky Humphrey and her husband Bill of Paducah and Frankie Parham and her husband Dale of Paducah; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gordon Frank Murray; her husband of 62 years, Frank Murray; two sisters; one brother; and her parents, Gordon and Callie Satterfield.

Eppie was the oldest member of Spring Bayou where she served in the nursery and saw many of the children grow up and have families of their own. She was a true servant at the age of 85 she helped at Martha’s Vineyard. She and her husband had many friends all over the United States and the world. She loved everybody and everybody loved her.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center with the Rev. Terry Tipton officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Bayou Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday morning at Morrow Funeral Chapel after 12 p.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m.
