MURRAY — Nancy Marie Overbey, 72, of Murray died Sunday at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.

She retired after 31 years of service in the food service department at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. She was a member of South Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Hope Futrell of Murray; one grandson; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Overbey; and one brother. Her parents were Dennis and Maggie Boyd.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at South Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eugene Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in South Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. until funeral hour at the church.
