LOUISVILLE — Brittany Michelle Trites and Trevor Roy DeJarnett were united in marriage May 19 at Cherokee Park in Louisville with Daniel Lira officiating. Music was provided by Marina Konishi-Comfort, violinist, and Jackie Royce, bassoonist.
The bride is the daughter of Russell and Latricia Trites of Murray. She is the granddaughter of James and Ann Crosthwait of Abilene, Texas, and Robert Trites of Allen, Texas.
The groom is the son of Roy and Darlene DeJarnett of Cleveland, Tenn., formerly of Lone Oak. He is the grandson of Lorene DeJarnett of Paducah.
Serving as bridesmaids were Jessica Parks of Madisonville, Leah Johannes of Corydon, Ind., and Emily Ashby of Murray. Flower girls were Miss Kherington Pharr, daughter of David and Amber Pharr of Boiling Springs, S.C., and Miss Lexington Galloway, daughter of Jeff and Angela Galloway of Alvaton.
Serving as groomsmen were Travis Biggers of Olivehurst, Calif., Brenon Conn of Murray, and the groom’s brother, Kelby DeJarnett of Cleveland, Tenn.
A reception followed.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Calloway County High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2011 from the University of Louisville, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in teaching. She is employed by the University of Louisville as a graduate chemistry teaching assistant.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Community Christian Academy in Paducah and a 2012 graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in music education. He is employed by Jefferson County Public Schools and Tradehome Shoes in Louisville.
The couple reside in Louisville.
