MAYFIELD — Billy Wayne McKinney, 75, of Mayfield died 4 a.m. Friday at his home.

He was a member of Mount Haven Baptist Church and was a disabled retiree from Goodyear Tire Company.

He is survived by his wife, Myra Joyce Ellegood McKinney; his son, Ricky McKinney of Mayfield; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Collins McKinney, and three brothers. His parents were Tommie and Maudie McKinney.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield with the Revs. Michael Rule and David Key officiating.

Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
