Jeffery Linn Downs, 40, of Paducah, passed away Friday at JSMC Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky.

Mr. Downs was a native of Paducah.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Frederick Downs of Princeton, Ky.; his mother, Paula Downs of Paducah; his father and stepmother, Al and Janie Downs of Paducah; three daughters, Lauren Downs, Laken Downs, and Alayna Downs, all of Paducah; one sister, Jeana Haynes of Paducah; three nieces, Allyson Tracy, Abigail Tracy, and Hannah Clark, all of Paducah; his best friend, Eric Franklin; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delmus and Gertrude Downs and James and Pauline Medlin.

A celebration of life service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Keeling Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Turner officiating.

Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery in Ballard County.

Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
