Edmond A. Farris, 81, of Paducah died at 6:15 a.m. Sunday at Lourdes hospital.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He retired from Amtrol Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Scurlock Farris; two daughters, Teresa Bopp and Patricia Farris, both of Paducah; three sons, Stephen Farris, Bruce Farris and Eddie Farris, all of Paducah; one brother, Billy Farris of Gardner, Ill.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister; two brothers; and one grandson. His parents were Jewell Allen and Jane Edward Odom Farris.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. John Wooley officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
