BARLOW — Donna K. Oswald Robertson, 45, of Barlow, passed away Friday at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in La Center. She was born May 16, 1967 in Bellflower, Calif. to Patrick Oswald and Sharon Hastings Sauer. She was a seaman in the United States Navy. After her discharge from the Navy, she was a devoted housewife and mother.
Donna is survived by her husband, Wilfred (Rob) Robertson of Barlow; one son, James Robertson and wife Katassy of Metropolis; one daughter, Elizabeth McDowell and husband Kyle of Bowling Green; two grandchildren, Jazmar Chester Robertson of Metropolis and Johnathon James McDowell of Bowling Green; her father, Patrick Oswald of Anaheim, Calif., and her mother, Sharon Sauer of Barlow; three brothers, Robert Oswald of Long Pine, Calif., Brian Oswald of Hardin, Ill., and Curtis Oswald of Hinesville, Ga.; and one sister, Kelly Oswald Paul and husband Jason of La Center.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Eunice Hastings of California; and Harry and Ruth Oswald of California.
Services for Donna Robertson will be Thursday, November 1 at 2 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of La Center with Deacon Terry Larbes officiating.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday morning and last until time of the service.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Church Cemetery in La Center.
