Evelyn Griffin Tucker, 83, of Paducah died at 3 a.m. Wednesday at Lourdes hospital.
She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, where she taught children’s Sunday school for many years.
Surviving are four daughters, Tina Haley and Alita Parent, both of Paducah, Jenda Lowery of Wingo, and Penni Hoaglin of Joplin, Mo.; three sons, Jim Story of Clearlake Oaks, Calif., and Mark Story and Michael Story, both of Paducah; one brother, Harold Griffin of Bardwell; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Tucker; one daughter, Verna Powell; three sons, Richard Tucker and Ralph and Olen Story; one sister; and one brother; her parents were Doc and Mae Griffin.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First Church of the Nazarene with J. Russell Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Graves County.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at Lindsey Funeral Home.
