Eugene Donald Aimone, age 84, of Paducah, passed away at 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah.

Mr. Aimone was a member and Elder of First Presbyterian Church in Paducah. He was an educator, and for over 30 years taught Industrial Arts and Math at Oak Park River Forest High School in Oak Park, Ill. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his daughter, Kris Shanks and husband L.W. of Paducah; son, Michael Aimone and wife Rebecca of Tinley Park, Ill.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leyla Hiscocks Aimone; parents, Christopher Joseph and Alleane Mackey Aimone; and  one son, Donald K. Aimone.

Funeral services for Eugene Donald Aimone will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2012, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Sharon Murray officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Kenton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
