MURRAY — Clarissa Thorn Willey, 47, of Nashville, Tenn., died Tuesday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

A native of Murray, Mrs. Willey was a member of Jones Chapel Church of Christ in Franklin, Tenn.

Mrs. Willey is survived by her husband, Michael Willey; one daughter, Olivia Willey of Nashville; two brothers, Arvis Thorn and Jackie Thorn, both of Almo; three nephews; three nieces; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Clara Thweatt Thorn, and one sister.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Heritage Family Funeral Home. John Mays will officiate.

Interment will follow at Stewart Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors between 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
