MAYFIELD — Gretchen Earline Jennings, 87, of Mayfield died Monday at Mills Health and Rehabilitation. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ, and retired from the Merit Clothing Company, where she was an inspector.

She is survived by one daughter, Regina Blalock of Mayfield, and one grandson, Jason Cain of Lowes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Jennings; one daughter, Carolyn Cain; one son, James Curtis Jennings, and two brothers. Her parents were Zollie and Betty Rickman Holland. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Byrn Funeral Home with Mike Tucker and Rev. Don Hendley officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
