CADIZ — Bobbie Faughn Mitchell, 78, of Cadiz died Friday at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah. 

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by daughters, Nancy Larisa Mitchell of Nashville, Tenn., Sandra Kaye Toney of Murray, Rita Phyllis Mitchell of Cadiz, and Lana June Thompson of Louisville.; two grandchildren, and one sister, Margaret Faughn of Madisonville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble “Buddy” Mitchell; seven brothers; and three sisters. Her parents were William McKinley Faughn and Eula Mae Holmes Faughn.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Revs. Norman Cotton and John Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
