EDDYVILLE — Leon Bartee, 65, of Eddyville died at 10:43 a.m. Sunday at his home.

He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Brandy Tyler Bartee; his mother, Marie Harper Bartee of Kuttawa; two daughters, Birdie Pratt and Kathryn “Lilly” Bartee both of Eddyville, one son, Anthony “Joey” Bartee of Eddyville; one granddaughter; one brother, Michael Bartee of Princeton; and one sister, Margie Bowler of Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by one son, Gregory Leon Bartee; and his father, Horace L. Bartee.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. John Mitchell officiating, and burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Monday at the church. Dunn’s Funeral Home in Eddyville is in charge of arrangements.
