Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ed Tracy of West Paducah celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the home of their daughter in Kevil.
Mr. Tracy and the former Carolyn Sue Richardson were married Oct. 6, 1962, by the Rev. A.W. Landis at First Baptist Church in Brookport, Ill. Their attendants were Pat Rives Hooper and Ronnie Joyce.
Mrs. Tracy is a former employee of Meis Department Store. She is the daughter of the late Elma Cothran Habeck and the late James Richardson.
Mr. Tracy retired as general manager of the Finkel Fair Stores in 1992 with 30 years of service. He then joined Mass Mutual Insurance as a career agent and later formed Group Insurance Service, where he works as a broker and owner. He is the son of the late Marguerite Reid Tracy and the late Louis “Dude” Tracy.
They have three children: Regenia McAlister of Kevil, Robert Tracy of Kukauna, Wis., and Richard Tracy of Lone Oak. They have five grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.
