Jean L. Smith, 80, of Paducah died at 10:43 a.m. Thursday at Lourdes hospital.

She was a member of Arcadia United Methodist Church, and had worked as an office manager for Paducah Orthopedic Clinic.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney C. Smith; three sons, Alan Smith of Kennesaw, Ga., Wayne Smith of League City, Texas, and Scott Smith of Kevil; one sister, Elaine Bagwell; two brothers, William Curtis Morgan of League City, Texas, and Johnny Morgan of Oakley, Calif.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one grandson and two brothers. Her parents were Charles and Callie Mae Curtis Morgan.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Revs. Paul Mullikan and Barry Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
