John ‘Sean’ Hopkins Jr.

WEST CHESTER, Pa. — John E. “Sean” Hopkins Jr. of West Chester, Pa., died on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Neighborhood Hospice from complications of a brain aneurysm.

He was born in Camden, S.C., in 1959. He is the only child of John Hopkins Sr. of Chesterbrook and the late Sue Kunnecke Hopkins.

He moved to Paducah, Ky., soon after birth and lived there until 1973. He then moved to Devon, Pa., where he attended Valley Forge Middle School and graduated from Conestoga High School. He then attended Ashland University in Ohio. He was of the Baptist faith.

He leaves behind several loving relatives. Jonathan Michael Hopkins, his only child, and Jonathan’s mother, Kimberly Hopkins McLaughlin, both of West Chester, survive him.

Sean loved people and had big heart for his many friends, which he kept in constant communication.

His Life Celebration services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2012, at The Baptist Church in the Great Valley, 945 N. Valley Forge, Devon, Pa., 19333.
