MAYFIELD — Shannon Jean Moore, 43, of Mayfield, Ky., passed away at 2 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2012, at her residence.

She was born in Charleston, S.C. Shannon was a registered nurse with Lourdes Hospital. She attended Augusta Tech in Augusta, Ga., and was a graduate of Paducah Community College of Nursing.

Shannon is survived by her parents, Paul E. Moore and Bonnie C. Shipley Moore of Paducah; brothers, Michael E. Moore of Mayfield, Ky., Brian Moore and wife Elizabeth of Mayfield, Ky.; grandmother, Veronica Shipley of Washington, Mo.; nephews, Patrick Moore of Mayfield, Ky., Jeremy Moore of Mayfield, Ky., Hunter Moore of Mayfield, Ky., and Scott Brimer and wife Karla of Mayfield, Ky.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Mr. Dewayne Mathis officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2012, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home.
