MELBER — Elroy Nesler, 95, of Michigan, formerly of Melber, died Saturday at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Detroit.
He was a retired assembler having worked in the automotive industry for many years, was a 32nd degree Mason, member of Scottish Rites, and a Shriner. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by four sons, Robert C. Nesler, Roy E. Nesler, Larry D. Nesler and Keith B. Nesler, all of Michigan; one sister, Elwanda Shepherd of Melber; one brother, Horace Nesler of Arkansas; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mayme Beasley Nesler; one daughter, Bobbie Nell Nesler; two brothers; and one sister; his parents were Lloyd and Gertrude Nesler.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Masonic Rites will be conducted at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
