PRINCETON — Joyce Thomas, 45, of Princeton died Thursday at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

She was a student and a member of Spillman Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, John Henry Thomas of Evansville; her mother, Joann Hancock of Princeton; two sons, Shelly Springfield of Princeton and James McLean of Marion; two daughters, Shaneka Gosa of Socorro, Texas, and Kayla Thomas of Princeton; four grandchildren; one brother, John Springfield, Jr., of Nortonville; and three sisters, Priscilla Harris, Terri Harris and Catherine Blount, all of Princeton.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Springfield.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morgan’s Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
