CALVERT CITY — Mary Marjorie Moore, 88, of Calvert City, passed away at 1:50 a.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Calvert City Convalescent Center.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Calvert City. She worked as a cashier for Sure Way Grocery and Capps Grocery and had worked at the Gypsy Tea Room and Calvert City Cleaners.
She is survived by her son, Robert Lyndell Moore and wife Helen of Calvert City; her daughter, Hazel Joyce Walker of Calvert City; grandchildren, Denna Moore, Regina Troutman and husband David, Stacey Atkins and husband Harold, Stephanie Walker and Steven Walker; and great-grandchildren, Nathan Atkins, Levi Tapp, Dallas Joshua Jones and wife Bethany, Magen Travis and husband Casey, Cortney Vasquez and husband Alfonso, Lexi Troutman, and Dawson Troutman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Moore; one brother, Melvin Coursey; and her parents, Hermon Coursey and Elta Mae Boggess Coursey.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Calvert City Cemetery. Lynn Jones and Bro. Jim Ewing will officiate, and burial will follow in Calvert City Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
