BEULAH — Mearlean Jean Draper, 81, of the St. Denis community died at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.

She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and was retired from Ferry-Morse Seed Company in Fulton.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Draper and Shawn Draper, both of St. Denis; one sister, Lula Belle Bone of Wingo; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Draper; and one brother. Her parents were Flegal and Ella Mae Burgess Gibson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Ian Carrico officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield and from noon until the funeral hour Saturday at the church.
