Margaret “Maggie” Emerson, 60, of Paducah, passed away 6:04 a.m. Thursday, September 20,2012, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Tx.

She was a member of Southland Baptist Temple, a retired nanny, and for many years she was a volunteer for The Dream Factory.

She is survived by her son, Mark Emerson and wife Connie of Groves, Texas; sister, Janice Hughes of Paducah; brothers, Michael Emerson and wife Constance of Hickory and David Emerson and wife Rhonda of Paducah; her grandson, Austin Emerson; and her two best friends, Debbi Johnson and Janice Harris.

Her parents were Carlos and Barbara Hardin Emerson.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September, 25, 2012, at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation for Ms. Emerson will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, September, 24, 2012, at the funeral home.
