Phyllis Raye Griffin, 68, of Paducah (native of Cape Girardeau, Mo.,) passed away at 8:15 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012, at Hope Lodge in Nashville, Tenn. She was of the Catholic faith.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Charles Lonnie Griffin of Paducah; two daughters, Kristi (Roger) Griffin Hagan of Paducah and Jenny (Trip) Griffin Dortch of Paducah; one son-in-law, Craig Shaw of Owensboro, Ky.; two sisters, Patty (Rick) Geringer of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Pandora (Ronnie) Schlitt of St. George Island, Fla.; five grandchildren, Ben Shaw, Kyler Hagan, Kamri Hagan, Zyla Dortch and Griffin Dortch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Pat Higdon Reitzel; one daughter, Betsy Griffin Shaw; one brother, Paul Allen Reitzel; and one grandchild, Melissa Shaw.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Father Ryan Harpole officiating.
Friends may call before the service from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
